As if! Katy Perry looked like she stole a page out of the "Clueless" playbook when she stepped out in seriously preppy ensemble on Wednesday.
The "Roar" singer was a vision in plaid at the Berlin launch of her Killer Queen fragrance and appeared to have snatched her outfit right out of Cher Horowitz's tricked-out closet.
But the 28-year-old songbird's look actually came straight from the runway. Perry popped a pose in an Alice + Olivia Fall 2013 black-and-red plaid box-pleated skirt, matching jacket, a black silk bow tie, black knee-high stockings, and Christian Louboutin Resillissima booties. She completed her ensemble with gold hoop earrings, a perfect red pucker, and a braided updo. The entire getup is worth an estimated $1,800.
While we're used to seeing the California girl in a bevy of outrageous outfits, this one had us thinking she might be ready to hit the high school hallways instead of a perfume launch party. Nevertheless, John Mayer's main squeeze isn't the first celeb to sport the schoolgirl style.

In May, "Spring Breakers" star Vanessa Hudgens and her gal-pals donned knee-highs, mini skirts, and loafers as they headed into a screening of the '90s classic "Clueless." The 24-year-old star took to Instagram to share her love of Alicia Silverstone's character and captioned the photo, "Went to Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Sunday. Watched Clueless. #ASIF!!!"
We're pretty sure the stylish Cher is singing both Hudgens and Perry's praises from the privacy of her fictional Beverly Hills mansion.
