So, here’s a recap of the biggest celebrity couple break ups and divorces of 2013! (So far!)
• Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti – This couple shocked fans by announcing their divorce 11 years into their marriage.
• Britney Spears and Jason Trawick – Just when we though Brit had found love again after K-Fed, this couple called off their engagement!
• Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross – Okay, this one wasn’t a shocker. Rupert was busted cheating on his wife with Kristen Stewart, so a divorce wasn’t out of line on Liberty’s part.
• Michelle Williams and Jason Segel – First we thought they were awkward, then we thought they were cute, and then they were over. We didn’t even have time to digest the break up news!
• Diane Lane and Josh Brolin – These two were married for 8 years before announcing their split.
• Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough – At first we didn’t know what to think, but then we were actually on team Ryan/Julianne. We still don’t know exactly why they split.
• Jason Aldean and Jessica Ussery – Again, not a shocker. Jason was spotted cheating on his wife with a former “American Idol” contestant, and it looks like she just couldn’t get past the betrayal.
• Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart – “Robsten” had been on the rocks ever since Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders (See above) so it didn’t come as a surprise that Rob just couldn’t handle their issues anymore.
• Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev – We’re still not over this celebrity break up. Why did these “Vampire Diaries” co-star have to split? Was it the age difference, because we think we could have dealt with it to snuggle up to Mr. Somerhalder!
• George Clooney and Stacy Kiebler – George doesn’t usually last long in relationships as he’s the ideal bachelor, so this didn’t shock anyone, probably not even Stacy.
• Dina and Clint Eastwood – Clint Eastwood’s wife has been in and out of rehab, and it seems the relationship has been troubled for a while. The couple announced their divorce in Sept.
• Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones – They haven’t made any official announcements yet, but this pair are said to be “taking a break,” and have both endured health issues (Michael’s throat cancer in 2010 and Catherine’s bi-polar issues.)
• Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth – This couple called off their engagement after multiple reports that they were on the rocks, Miley’s wild behavior, and Liam’s alleged cheating. (Yep, they were doomed!)
