Good news for phablet fans.
Sky has acknowledged problems are being experienced by Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users trying to run the Sky Go app and has pledged address the issue with a fix.
Earlier this month, the broadcaster announced that the on-demand TV application is now compatible with the Note 3, along with a slew of other Android smartphones and tablets.
However, it subsequently emerged that in fact some Note 3 models did not support the service, which enables Sky customers to watch its output on mobile devices.
It's thought that the problem applies to the LTE variant of the handset, which was tellingly absent from the list of devices that Sky announced had come on board.
The good news is that a fix is on the way that means that all Note 3 users will be able to enjoy on-the-go sports, movies and whathaveyou.
In a statement issued to uSwitch Tech, a Sky spokesperson said: “We are aware some customers are experiencing difficulties accessing Sky Go on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 device added to the support list on the 1st of October.
“We are scheduling an update to resolve this and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Natch, we’ll let you know as soon as the update becomes available. From the sounds of things, it shouldn’t be too long.
Next month is also set to scheduled to see the addition of larger Android tablets to the litany of devices that support Sky Go, including the likes of the Samsung Note 10.1, Google Nexus 10 and Sony Xperia Z tablet.
